The point of the article, that capitalism has a natural inclination to increase the disparity between wealthy and poor, has been long assumed as a self-evident property of capitalism. This doesn’t make it bad, but it does show how it needs to be tempered. Most countries, including America, use a combination of socialism and capitalism to find a healthy balance.
