I'm guessing with the rise of automated jobs there will be a huge rise in electrical and mechanical engineers.
After all, someone has to take care of those machines, no?

I don't think so - the machines will serviced by machines.
It's easier to design machines that can be easily maintained by machines than to design machines that can replace humans.
