au contraire - many find Clojure code extremely readable (even compared to other Lisps). It's possible to write some obscure functions in any language, developing good taste and habits to write nice and reasonable code is just a matter of practice. I believe Clojure gives you enough discipline to learn that fast. It just seems there are certain types of devs who are inherently dyslexic - they struggle to read Lisps. Where a Lisp developer sees structure and beauty they see nothing but quivering beehive of parentheses.
