I don't think it's off base to say that within out lifetime the oceans will be completely destroyed. So many mass-die offs of ocean life lately.

They'll be very different, certainly. But not "completely destroyed". There may well be nothing very good to eat there, however. And less oxygen.
They die, we die. It's as simple as that.

A bit of an exaggeration, no? There have been several mass extinction events in the past and yet the world exists today.
I'm sure the world will recover just fine in a few hundred million years.
It didn't work out very well for the dinosaurs, did it?
