There is one thing that annoys me about http://www.bbc.co.uk/news I use VPN node in Finland. When I visit the news site the page loads very quickly, I start reading and after 3 seconds you figure out that I'm not in UK (based on IP I guess) and you reload to the international page with different articles.

Sorry about this... The BBC has some extremely strict rules around not showing advertising to UK users (who already pay a license fee to the BBC). We attempt to prevent this by redirecting people to the "correct" edition based on their location.
Unfortunately, for legacy reasons, the geolocation lookup and subsequent redirect happen in the browser. It might be possible for us to issue the redirect from the edge soon, since most non-UK users now come via Fastly which does some geolocation.
In the mean time, you can prevent the redirect by ensuring you go to bbc.com or bbc.co.uk, depending on whether you are in the UK or not.
