It's a good question because I understand Japan to be the region in the world where iOS dominates smartphones the most (over 50%?). I know RubyMotion has Android support and it continues to get better but I think it's fair to say RubyMotion is strongest for iOS/macOS work.

The company is under new ownership/management since very recently ... perhaps Amir or someone will look at regional situations and gain more mindshare for the platform.
