Ask HN: Problems with Namecheap.com and DNSSEC?

I continue to have trouble with domains that are registered at Namecheap.com. I’m not sure what exactly is wrong there, but DNSSEC fails out of nowhere on certain name servers. As a consequence the affected domains appear to be completely down for users, because the domain name cannot be resolved anymore.

Does anyone else also encounter these problems?

Since DNSSEC is a critical feature for me, I also consider switching to another DNS provider. But of course I don’t want to run into the same issues again there.

Any recommendations?
