How to continue the momentum for a startup which found a product market fit
Hi HN, Looking forward for the thoughts and discussion.
I have been working with a fashion tech startup for almost an year as part time. I joined the team as a technical co-founder (There are two more co-founders who originally started two years before take care of the business side). My co-founders have part time job and I am doing a full time job. So, we were building slowly. Our initial users have shown interest and most of the people we talked to shown positive responses. We were moving slowly like on-boarding a few users every month. I felt our growth and momentum is too slow. Thought i have full time job, i spend all the evenings and the weekend on building the product. On the other hand, i really needed to push my co-founders on the business side. One challenge they are facing is time. They have to do jobs to keep the startup running. I am thinking one of the solution might be to raise some money, so my co-founders can spend more time on the startup.
Is it the right time to raise money? Or we should just keep doing what we were doing? Thanks in advance.
