Ugh. Higher interest rates and inflation will work against those on the lower end of the poverty scale. (Yes, wages will go up. But not enough to match increases in the price of goods.) Those who need to borrow will fall even farther behind.

Low inflation and rates isn't ideal, but it's probably the best scenario when there is a big difference between high and low economic ends.
