Doesn't news about, and information for start-ups figure largely on Hacker News? Isn't the latter's purpose to make money, preferably lots of it? I should have thought any discussion about money, albeit culled from a famous novel is indeed relevant here.
As one-sentence put-downs go, yours' is fine especially for use at noisy parties but I find them kind of annoying because they're high on emotion and mere opinion, as in 100% and low, as in 0%, on substantive reasons to believe the relevant assertion.
