Although I found the post useful, I felt it was targeted more towards a technical audience, or people just starting to learn about the web from a technical perspective. I don't know how many people generally know about Github or Netlify otherwise.

And even then wouldn't the exercise of hosting a server and setting up something like Nginx, be more valuable?

And if the need is just "I want a website", options like Weebly (weebly.com) is far more user friendly, surely.
