Ask HN: Is Google failing to filter spam?

I've noticed that in the past few months, I'm increasingly encountering spam results in the first page of Google searches.

They are more "intelligent" than the usual spam which I used to recognize quickly ('+' joined keywords in the url, nonsense description, generic domain name) : The results seem to have a correct description, the URL looks like that of a blog post, but when I click on it, either I get a 404 or redirected to a site which gets blocked by my ad blocker.

I mostly encounter those with my programming/technical queries. Here is one I encountered today :

  9th Result:

The description turns out to be a combination of sentences from this blog post[1] and this HN comment[2]. The second page of results is even worse.

Did anyone notice the same thing?

And please, do not suggest DuckDuckGo, you can check for yourself how bad are the results compared to Google for the above query.
