I've heard it speculated that the thing to do may be to not put people on ventilators, but give them blood transfusions.

I only scanned and did a page search for the word “transf”, but I couldn’t find anything in those articles recommending transfusions.

The first link mentions transfusions, but it's really just another comment on Slashdot saying that they heard that some doctors are thinking about hemoglobin-based causes. Nothing concrete or sourced.
