Yeah this is vile nonsense from a charlatan who should be living in a cardboard box.

Book of Job soundly rejects prosperity gospel. Job has everything. Satan makes a bet with God, that the only reason why Job acts righteous is because he has prosperity. Take it all away, Satan says, and Job will reject or blame God. God agrees, and takes everything away from Job: animals, wealth, home, family. Job predictably complains, insists he did everything right and proper and didn't deserve such misery, and demands an audience before God to explain himself. God never addresses Job, the speech is basically a major fuck off of the entire premise that man even matters at all.

From an ethical and sociopolitical standpoint, it's soundly rejected in the Magna Carta, and of course is incompatible with democracy. The idea rich people are better than others, that it is their right to pay a little extra to cut in front of the line, that all things are products and not rights - so that education, justice, health care, are all purchasable on a free market alone with inferior or non-existent public versions - is surely embraced by aristocrats and oligarchs. But it's not consistent with equal justice, equal opportunity, and elected leaders. It's the sort of thing you expect from folks who believe family name and bloodlines matter, and primogeniture is a good idea.

But of course quite a lot of people prefer the lies, and are willing to pay for them, because the truth is just too dreadful for them to handle.
