There is so much room for cynicism here, but this one really takes the cake:

I'll give GM credit because they've been taking electric cars more seriously than the other major automakers. But they continue to rely heavily on gas cars, cheered on those "efforts to erode American ingenuity" that hampered the competitor ahead of them.
