Ask HN: GNU/Linux users using Apple devices, what are you using?

Hi, I am currently a mac user who wants to go back to a GNU/Linux distribution (on a Dell XPS machine), mainly because I feel too "compressed" on macOS for my dev tasks (AI/ML, Docker, ...).

I use two other Apple devices (iPhone + iPad - and I don't want to switch to Android, sorry), and some Apple services. I would like to know if somebody else is using a GNU/Linux distro, and the softwares / services that could be used on both Apple & GNU/Linux systems (like a great Podcast app with good sync for example).
