As with nearly all BBC articles including their newest one [0], it's always about what they don't tell you. This time it's about the transaction fees from Bitcoin which make it expensive to move / convert your BTC. Making it pointless to use for micro-transactions.
The article is a bit dated since Bitcoin is above $30k today.
