This piece primarily discusses fiction or memoir, but some of my favorite book reviews are the longform reviews of nonfiction in outlets like The New Yorker or The New York Review of Books, sometimes grouping a couple books on a topic, distilling and often augmenting the primary books under discussion with additional sources.
Here's an idea: a reverse book review. A book reviews its readers, or the author reviews its readers' review. Maybe it's boring. Here's another one: a book review reviewed by another reader. Could be interesting.
You might also be interested in "Reviews of this book" [1], a book entirely consisting of reviews of the book, an idea promoted by Douglas Hofstadter.

Stansław Lem has published "A Perfect Vacuum", reviews of non-existent books [2], which are also fun to read. The first article is Lem's review of "A Perfect Vacuum".
