The submersible vehicle used for this is called “Limiting Factor”. This is the name of a GOU (general offensive unit) ship from Ian M. Banks’ Culture series. Culture ship names have also been used by spacex, most notably their two drone ships “of course I still love you” and “just read the instructions”. Would love if this trends is kept up, some of the culture ship names are just amazing.
