FTA "Amiga Unix contained no compatibility layer to allow AmigaOS applications to run under Unix," however there was software to go in the other direction¹. Looking at Aminet it looks like a lot of software was ported with ixemul, anyone have personal experience of how it behaved/felt on AmigaOS?
