I detested netbooks because their performance always disappointed. They were too early. If today's arm chips were driving them and better memory it might have been different.

I don't know if it counts but I still have the carcass of an ho stream 7 I bought and used for maybe 3 months before I became sick to death of its performance.

I think I even upgraded it to windows 10.

Not sure if there are any good uses for the bones of these kinds of machines now.

Now a Samsung Galaxy tablet can be converted to a Netbook by simply adding a keyboard which mounts to the device. The closest thing to a netbook you can buy today is a Chromebook.
