I’m not sure why it would strange to anyone except a media outlet that people in general are tired of everything being framed as a divisive battle and of Americans as assholes.

That simply isn’t my experience of American people regardless of political persuasion or race or class.

Ted lasso is of course a caricature as are all of the parts in the show., but he represents something real.
