I don’t follow that logic. Should we ban anything that’s staggeringly unpopular, cutting of the long tail everywhere?
If it is something that lots of people want to do others, almost always without regard for their consent, and virtually no one wants to have it done to them, then yes, I think it's a good candidate to ban.
