Switzerland is overrated. It's a beautiful country, but quality of life (if you want or have children) is far from good. It's brutal and backwards. For example, there is a tax "punishment" if you get married (you pay more tax if you get married), so people end up living in partnerships, well into their 60s. Daycare costs are a third of your income per child. I have a friend who has 2 kids and his wife will probably never go back to work, as that would not make financial sense.
