Support for 6s/6s+/SE(1st Gen)/iPad Air 2... I honestly suspected they would drop support for those devices, they were already the longest supported (with new iOS, I think the 5c still got bug fixes till recently.) devices in iOS history and now another year.

Granted not all features but damn that will be close to 7 years of OS upgrades if they finally kill it in iOS 16. (I'm just glad I don't have to upgrade my mothers ipad for another year lol).

Develop apps on ipad and ship them to the App Store without using a Mac.

Huge change.

The feature which I was looking forward to for a while[1] is for the message sender to determine the urgency of the message and thereby notification; It's now available on Messages as part of the Focus feature.

This should help reduce the notification pollution.

My wife 6s+ is still being supported? She complains constantly about the device randomly turning off itself last year. I changed the battery for her and hoped that Apple would stop patching it so she could let it go. Man, comparing to the shitshow that Sample Galaxy devices are: 2-3 year of support max. I'm not sure if it is better now since I have stopped using anything Samsung manufactured after S5.
Watching the presentation, i wonder of the addition of ID-cards/driver licenses to the Wallet app...

Not sure how it is in the US, here in .de you're expected to hand over your drivers license if you've been pulled over to the police officer, so they can run checks on it.

Now, this would probably a semi-good idea to hand over your unlocked phone or even have a unlocked phone "visible" or am i overthinking things?

Browsing the cards in Wallet doesn't require unlocking. Furthermore, unlocking a card in Wallet doesn't unlock the rest of the phone.
It easily could if you’re not careful though. I can easily see people unlocking the phone and opening the Wallet app to bring it up. Also, with FaceID it pretty much unlocks automatically, and most people would look at the phone first before handing it over.

I suspect Apple has probably thought of this already and has some way to control it better.

I'd rather see cops, banks and anyone else who needs your proof of Id or proof of age to adopt secure NFC scanners for existing cards.
