Well at least you weren't part of the November 2020 launch day fanatics which was beyond chaotic with tons of issues being discovered by the hour. This is what they didn't tell you.
Then you would be waiting 6 months instead of 3 months for the software to be stable to actually do your work properly. That's why I skipped the M1 hype altogether, since the software available is still immature.
I tried giving out this warning to M1 power users here, but was immediately downvoted anyway by the fanatics. But I defied against the hype squad and was right again.
