Indeed. Here's a recent meta analysis[1] (discussed yesterday on the TWiV clinical update). Money quote: "In comparison to SOC or placebo, IVM did not reduce all-cause mortality, length of stay or viral clearance in RCTs in COVID-19 patients with mostly mild disease. IVM did not have an effect on AEs or severe AEs. IVM is not a viable option to treat COVID-19 patients."

High-power trials are needed to know for sure, but at this point the "true believers" (of which there are many) are operating much more on wishful thinking than solid evidence. It's still possible IVM will show some benefit, but I think at this point we can conclude fairly confidently it's not a silver bullet.
