When FB announces its new brand name as "meta", I was wondering if they already own the domain "meta.com" since it was a short four characters.

Personally, I never had the chance to reserve a dot com domain with a beautiful/elegant/meaningful name. Whatever I type, it appears to be already reserved and, to add insult to injury, most of them where not active! So, mostly, I end up picking the full name in the TLD, something like: "youtu.be" , "app.store" etc
