I just realized how much effort is really spent in making PWAs to become what they are today. Truly a long journey with A/B testing, trial & error and some heavyweight UX work. I can comfortably say that this a true "build once, run everywhere" especially for MVPs and early-stage products. If ONLY apple put its ego aside and join this movement for the the benefit of the public!

Even without all the research the amount of hoops you have to jump through to provide expected features of a website is quite significant. I love static websites, because some of said research leads to quite ugly features. No, unlimited scrolling isn't a good feature. Perhaps when your metric is holding attention of bored users, sure, but that metric might be quite stupid.
