What an interesting life! Need to read more about Wells. This article was a bit poorly written, though. Ambling and unfocused. It seemed like it had a thesis it was trying to drive, while also trying to provide a general summary of his life.
It’s because it’s a book review with a tiny bit of other stuff thrown in, and ends up being neither.
