It’s even worse, a report that they have no data at all. There’s no evidence it worse, there’s no evidence it’s better. Completely worthless non-information.

As I read it, what it says is "we have no data, please ignore those people who say it's much milder, because we have no data". That's non-information in a way, but as I see it the fault is not theirs, the fault belongs to those who publish prematurely.
