That's idiotic beyond belief, and while I'm not an expert on NFTs, ownership of original, physical work, seems to one of the very few things they could actually be used for (the NFC being a certificate that you are indeed the rightful owner of the original).

One tries to be nice to everyone but by hell it's hard when there are scum about like that.

I already dislike NFTs, but:

I find that disgusting. We don't have the tech to fully digitize an object so you'll be destroying historical information. This is cyber for the sake of being cyber.
