Out of Sir Vidia’s Shadow

For someone who wrote such guff about Pakistan in Among the Believers, it's interesting to read about his second wife (and her brother Amir's tangles with the Pakistan Army he served in)

This was an interesting read. It’s been a while since I’ve read Naipaul but I remember his books fondly. I didn’t realize at first that Vidia was his name, or that this article was even about him.
