Africa has ~3 times the land area of Europe (and that's measuring Europe all the way east to the Ural Mountains), ~60 different countries, ~1,250 languages, and ~1 1/4 billion people. Unless you're a geologist talking about continental drift, stuffing all of Africa into one pigeonhole is extremely misleading.
