This is cool, but it seems jarring when I attempt to read the text, like hitting a speed bump. Upon reflection I perceive the highlights as a subtext signaling incomprehension. Thus I unconsciously reread each word individually to find what I might be missing.

It’s an experience that makes me wonder if neuro-linguistics[1] wasn’t just an amusing fictional meme…
