Rockley Photonics has done a lot of work to make that happen, maybe enough that the answer is “Yes”: https://rockleyphotonics.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Rock...

Whether it’s in the Apple Watch 8, 9, or a special-purpose device is anyone’s guess, as is the accuracy. It seems like they’re pretty far along, though.

Well this is the big question share price way down at $3.3. My opinion is that they wont make the cut of for the September release of the next Apple Watch with Blood Pressure and Glucose Monitor but may deliver the Core Body temp and maybe something else from there list of sensors. I Read they had positive human trails with CBT beating out other current methods. With Apple having yearly watch releases a 23 September release of GM may leave Apple exposed to the competition who knows. The other unanswered questions is whether the Rockley Sensor is the same regardless and all the Sensing is done in software/AI algorithms which have yet to be finalised/developed/tuned ? Also would Apple want to add this functionality through software or get us all to buy a new watch.
