google chromecast flopped, amazon stick flopped, why microsoft thinks xcloud stick will succeed when nintendo/valve went ahead and built a handheld console?

apple/sony are also doing some prep work for a handheld console, as well as tencent!

it feels like microsoft is burning some steps there

deck like console with cloud capabilities would have been smarter than a "stick"
