Is FT a good source of this sort of news? I suppose it's as good as any other aggregation. Googled "evidence that Covid-19 is leaving people sicker" and found one that wasn't paywalled.

After 2 years of intermittent lockdowns, working from home, and not a whole lot of public events to attend, my heart health deteriorated greatly even before I got Covid-19, so I don't think that's a great statistic.
