A summary: IPv6 networks sometimes aren't as big as you thought, and then an argument that scanning a single IPv6 need not be much more work than scanning the whole IPv4 internet and doing a partial scan can be less work, and finally some handwaving to suggest that this means "not too big to scan".

And… the default configuration of most of the devices on my home network puts them outside of that "sometimes". The router would be found and perhaps the NAS. Maybe sometimes is rarely.
