Me too, had to go through cookie settings to find out this as well. Web anti-patterns are cancer.
Hahaha same! And still being interested, blew out my cookies and still nope.

And then, definitely out of frustration more than anything, switched browsers and hit up archive.org. Apparently archive.org hit it's limit, too

Why would it be disturbing that some advice has stood the test of time? Is it just that the listed example involves (presumably largely accurately, since it stuck) thinking badly of people?
