When twitch says they're not making enough money but fail to disclose their revenue and costs it becomes hard to justify.

In any case, as others have pointed out, the ad situation on twitch is abysmal. Because adblocker doesn't work properly (there are other extensions that do work for blocking ads specifically on twitch) I had to suffer the "regular" experience and it literally made me quit watching the platform entirely. Maybe I'm over sensitive but having to watch 4 to 6 ads whenever I tune into a stream was awful, specially a new stream of someone I hadn't watched before. Of course if I know the streamer I know what I'm in for but if I don't and I'm greeted with 6 unskippable 30 seconds ads... Sorry but no.
