I thought Twitter was a Hellscape before Elon bought it? That is why I left Twitter. Mastodon is much better.

And you believe it? It's clearly false.
So, Trump seems to have done okay. He appears to be the most popular republican politician even after losing the presidency and instigating a riot in the capital. Clinton only had sex with an intern, and republicans were willing to throw him overboard for that.
That was after the entire "grabbing them by the p*ssy" comment, soooo....

Tell me how these helped Nixon's presidency, Hilary Clinton's election chances, the grieving parents who lost children at Sandy Hook, transgender acceptance, and COVID vaccination rates.
I'd rather use mastodon than Twitter, since I like decentralized things. But I don't really get the use case for either. (I'm not saying there isn't a valid use case; just saying that I, personally, don't resonate with it.)
I have a number of followers who like the links I post, but I never read anything on either platform.
Instead, I'm in a number of slack and discord channels with friends and family. That's been working really well for keeping in touch and conversation.
