Since virtue signaling is clearly damaging society, I wonder whether it will be evolutionarily weeded out, or it will become a sort of auto-immune disease that leads humanity to extinction.
Lets hope dumb virtue signalling doesn't get in the way much more.

This German government really demonstrated how costly and dumb virtue signalling is, when it prevents competent people from being appointed or the right plans to be executed(Nuclear Power).
