This should also be a lesson for all those clamoring for high rises and high density housing in Bay Area. There is a reason why the safety codes are there. Let’s not forget it.

I don't personally think it's absurd. It seems people nowadays would just get a travel trailer or similar for temp housing (am thinking west coast areas after modern fire damages)
