I remember reading a recipe in a fancy cookbook for rotten songbirds, but can't find that.
One doesn't need to go as far as to Sardinia, our everyday food like sausages is not pretty at all.
People literally take animal intestines, fill then with other pieces of meat and leave them to dry...
If you think about it, sausages are as strange as kiviaq.
