it wouldnt have to be a 10/10 AI execution. just good enough in spots to cut and paste.
rap producers would save $$$. plus, near-infinite sampling real estate opened up. the gaye estate loses their future income stream, and i would assume open up new fields of legal prosecution concerning 'likeness'.

It doesn’t affect live music at all. People are still going to see other people play bluegrass, rock and rock, and classical orchestral music.
It’s the end of the record industry, but not the end of records being made in traditional manners.

Can’t say I have a good feeling about it. But it doesn’t sound like the business end is going to wane. It’s just going to become worse to operate in. Battle against “the algorithm”. Horrible.
