If RIAA is against it, I'm probably for it, and this is definitely one of those cases. I have several domains, including a .US domain. Back in the day, WHOIS was cool. But today, it is outdated. With the rise of WHOIS privacy products, WHOIS services for domains offer no useful information.
If the RIAA wants to sue someone, they can do the work of figuring out who they want to sue just like everyone else. Or they can just stop. I think all the time and money they put toward this stuff is just a big waste.
