Sounds like a fun idea until every ESP blocks you because a bad actor used this to spam people.
I don't think it can be used to spam people, but if enough people use it for signups to services ("we sent you a confirmation email") the domain risks being added to a burner/disposable/proxy/anonymous/privacy domain list and become less trustworthy.
This seems to be a way to generate anonymous emails to receive email, not to send email.
It sends emails from one server to another, a spammer will find a way to abuse it. A spammer could create a bunch of val's for each of their spam recipients.
