China already did this in the Korean war: released zombie Red Army cyborgs into that winter war who hadn't had a meal for three weeks. The cyborgs first move in every encounter was to rush the Americans, overwhelm and overrun then and attack their canned rations mercilessly.

The American killed so may b/c they dropped their weapons to root around for food.
