Thats only part of it. These AI are usable by individuals too, which means any casual scammer can use them to poison the well for a nickel.

The only thing that can save us is critical thinking and institutional trust... hence we are probably doomed.

Didn't Internet (or rather) web already get ruined by content (ad) farms and such?

It feels like we have this problem for at least the last 5 years.
